Big surge yesterday afternoon; my castle is now my island. There's still a long way to go before real trouble though. I've lost a few things from my "basement" and my driveway is partially washed away.
The neighbours on the mill have been flooded though. And they're on holiday. Luckily we got lots of people round to shift all the furniture to the first floor. Harder work was keeping all the canal boats off the bank (they'd capsize when the level drops). I had to do much of the donkey work as I was the only one with waders.
