Within Europe, England has the the reputation of having the worst food. It's certainly not near the top of the list but I always found it ironic that Germans would tease us about it when their cuisine is far, far worse (e.g., Eisbein and Labskaus). My retort was usually to point to their Birkenstock shoes -- ugly ugly ugly.
But now everyone here seems to wear "Crocs".
So to all Germans. Sorry. You are clearly a more evolved race.
